About

Growing up in a family of artists, Amanda was fortunate to be surrounded by creativity and encouraged to explore her imagination. Spending her childhood with fabric scraps in her grandmother’s sewing room and trailing her grandfather to the painting studio left a lasting influence on her choice of media. She finds deepest connection to her work when marrying fiber and paint on canvas–a true link to her family’s artistic legacy.

Amanda’s professional art career has traversed periods ranging from metalsmithing to printmaking, with commissions from Anthropologie and numerous gallery exhibitions. She finds her true calling to be painting and spends her days rambling through the ponderosa forests and volcanic foothills of the Pacific Northwest, drawing forth inspiration to put to canvas.
